Abstrac: Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Social Movements Research Center (NPMS), the article presents a mapping of student (postgraduate) and faculty production over the last decade (2014-2023), with quantitative data - NPMS academic production by type and by theme - and qualitative data. In this sense, it highlights four analytical axes that appeared in a more structured way in all the research and publications, in many cases from a cross-cutting perspective, namely: Participation and political representation of social minorities; Modalities and articulations “of” and “between” participation and political institutions/representation; Religion and politics; and Theoretical reflections on associations, participation and democracy. The article also pays tribute to Professor Ilse Scherer-Warren, founder and central reference in the production of the NPMS.
