Abstract:
In recent years, the fight for women's, black and LGBTQIAPN+1 rights has gained more ground. Many social movements are organizing to defend these causes. This informative material was created to explain, in a simple and accessible way, what the main agendas of these movements are and how they operate in Brazil. We want to share this knowledge with you directly. Our research sought to understand the trajectories and challenges of these movements. The project was funded by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and carried out between 2022 and 2025. For three years, we studied, shared experiences and produced knowledge. The research was coordinated by professors Olivia Cristina Perez (UFPI), Joana Tereza Vaz de Moura (UFRN) and Gustavo Gomes da Costa Santos (UFPE). With this work, they have strengthened their academic collaborations and published various materials based on the data collected.
