INCT Participa launched a new visual identity on its social media channels this October. The update preserves the central elements of the original identity but adopts a cleaner layout, making the main message of each post stand out more clearly.
“The goal, by focusing on the message, is to make it increasingly accessible, in our ongoing effort to promote scientific outreach so that science does not remain only within academia,” says Mateus Camillo, communications coordinator at INCT Participa.
“Building on INCT’s existing visual identity, the proposal was to make visual communication clearer and more effective by creating simple patterns and visual solutions. We selected a fixed color combination for each category to establish an identity associated with each one, and we also began labeling the categories in the posts to help readers navigate the content. In addition, we created two graphic patterns based on a detail from the logo, which can be combined with text and images to break the monotony of graphic materials without compromising readability,” explains Eugênia Pessoa, the designer responsible for the updates.
