INCT Participa invites you to the activity “Shared Courses in Graduate Programs: Experiences, Challenges, and Possibilities,” organized by ABCP, this Friday, March 13, at 6:00 PM, on ABCP’s YouTube channel.
This activity, organized by the Brazilian Political Science Association (ABCP), proposes a reflection on collaborative courses in graduate programs. These are courses in which faculty from different institutions jointly teach a shared class. The aim is to discuss this format, its strengths, as well as the challenges involved in its organization and implementation. For this reason, the activity is especially relevant for graduate program coordinators, as well as faculty and students.
To contribute to the discussion, Professor Carla Almeida (UEM/INCT Participa) and Professor Euzeneia Carlos (UFES/INCT Participa) have been invited to share their experience organizing a course in this format. Professor Soraia Marcelino Vieira (UFF/ABCP) will participate as a discussant, posing questions and commenting on the experience. The session will be chaired by Professor Olívia Cristina Perez (UFPI/ABCP/INCT Participa).
In 2025, INCT Participa launched its own collaborative course, involving several graduate programs across Brazil. Organized by the GTT Formação, the course “Thematic Graduate Seminars: Participation, Associativism, and Political Contention” aimed to integrate academic training, exchange among graduate programs, and the dissemination of ongoing research within INCT Participa. New editions are planned for 2026 and 2027.
