On November 19, 2024, Jornal da USP published an article by Silvana Salles highlighting the impact of INCT Participa, an initiative coordinated by Professor Adrian Gurza Lavalle, from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences (FFLCH-USP).

On December 3, 2024, the INCT Participa Steering Committee held a meeting with the members of the institute's International Advisory Committee (CAI). The aim of the meeting was to present INCT Participa's structure and initiatives, including the research axes and the Transversal Working Groups (GTTs), and to explore ways of collaborating to strengthen the long-term contributions of the institute and its network of partners in Brazil and abroad.

This article analyzes the political results of the social movement in public policy, specifically the consequences of the Human Rights movement in the protection programs of the National Human Rights Policy.

On November 21, the Research Day on corruption will take place, organized around an interdisciplinary network with support from CNPq Universal 2023. The event will be broadcast on the LEPP UFS YouTube channel and brings together researchers from various universities.

Next week (Wednesday 6th), the SBS Social Movements Research Committee is holding the first meeting in the series “Dialog Tables”.

The course “Disasters in Dispute: activisms, contestations and claims”, which will be held on December 9 and 10, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., is an initiative aimed at members of the centers that are part of the INCT-Transformations of Participation, Associativism and Political Confrontation (INCT-Participa).

INCT Participa has partnered with the National School of Public Administration - ENAP to support training and development for public administrators through the Virtual School of Government (EVG).

The Núcleo Democracia e Ação Coletiva (NDAC) at Cebrap, a founding center of INCT Participa, marked its 15th anniversary with a special event.

INCT Participa was presented at the 14th Meeting of the Brazilian Political Science Association in Salvador, during a session showcasing the research projects and institutional commitments of active INCTs in the field.
